Turville Bay MRI Centers and Southern Wisconsin Radiotherapy Center merged to become the Turville Bay MRI & Radiation Oncology Center. The facility is jointly owned by St. Marys Hospital Medical Center and Meriter Hospital. FCM Corporation was chosen as the Design/Builder to design multiple additions and make interior alterations that would effectively combine the two separate buildings into one cohesive facility.

The design goals were to consolidate the business and administration functions, add two new MRI rooms, a new linear accelerator vault, a new common building entrance, a new cancer treatment waiting area overlooking Turville Bay, and to make alterations to 100% of the existing facilities to enhance patient flow, privacy and treatment. All this was to be accomplished without interrupting the vital services provided by the existing facilities.

FCM’s experienced design and construction team working in concert with the excellent members of the facility staff accomplished these goals and more. The new facility, completed in December 2003, is now one of the finest in the area.
